A Day in Dublin

Today Callie and I spent the better part of the day roaming the streets of Dublin and enjoying the sights! We got a cup of coffe and went for a jog through St. Stephens Green, then window shopped all around the Grafton Street area.

We then had the most delicious lunch at a cute little place called Taste. After we finished up there we walked over to the Jameson Distellery and got in a quick tour there before hailing a cab back over to our neck of the woods, the Temple Bar area, to see the Book of Kells at Trinity College. We had the good luck of the Irish, ha, to get there just right before close and didn't even gave to pay admission!

Now we've just gotten back to our hotel and are trying to decide what we want to do for dinner. Our cab driver recommended we take the train to Howth for a more truely Irish feel, so we are debating doing that or finding something close by.

Tomorrow we are taking a tour out to Wicklow, which is about thirty minutes out of town, to see some of the Irish countryside! We will be hiking and stopping in some smaller towns, and apparently the tour is led by Leprachauns!

I'm not doing a great job of taking pictures, but will try to remember to tomorrow!
